Why We Focus on Small-Batch, Pre-Designed Drops (Instead of Custom Everything)

You might notice we don't offer custom, made-to-order shirts right now — and that's intentional.

Custom apparel sounds great in theory, but it comes with real tradeoffs for a small shop: longer turnaround times, higher minimums to make one-off designs cost-effective, and inconsistent quality control when every order is a one-off. By focusing on a curated, pre-designed seasonal collection instead, we're able to:

  • Control quality on every piece, since we're printing designs we've already tested and refined

  • Turn orders around faster, because we're not starting from scratch on every order

  • Keep pricing more consistent, without the setup costs custom work usually requires

This is a common approach among small apparel shops that print in-house rather than outsourcing to a large network — it lets a small team focus on doing a few things really well instead of everything at once.

Right now, that means a focused Halloween lineup. In the next month or two, we'll be adding Christmas designs using the same approach: a small, well-made collection rather than an overwhelming catalog.
